As a joint effort between the Product Design and Microinteraction courses at Santa Monica College, I spent my time ideating a product solution to a common, modern-day problem: the difficulties for workers to efficiently learn skills relevant to their workflow. This academic project challenged us to consider both the physical form and digital interface of our tool.
I used this opportunity to hone my wholistic understanding of product development, considering both the ergonomics of a tangible product and interacting with a digital interface.
Spex was an exercise in designing a streamlined, touchless experience using immersive, wearable technologies to afford users easy access to educational content.
